This webinar took place on Thursday, August 13, 2020. You can watch this webinar on demand by completing the form.

Overview

In this unprecedented time for everyone, it is certainly no exception to educators. School leaders, parents and edtech providers are working around the clock to create solutions to keep the learning going when students 'return’ back to school.

Join this webinar, as we reveal our collaboration with Sam Yancey, Gifted Teacher at Haywood County Schools on the new distance learning offerings, designed for in-school and at-home learning.

In this webinar, you will learn about:

  • A remote learning kit which creatively combines STEAM, intuitive coding, and hands-on maker opportunities.
  • Design constraints which help teachers and students to think creatively and problem-solve.
  • Find ways to cultivate your own creativity and to share this with students
  • Ideas to try out your own tech meshing to discover new creative combinations that fuse well together and better serve students
  • The transformative power of STEAM, open-ended learning, and the engineering design process to build confidence and creativity

Sam has previously secured 15 grants during his career and will show you how to convincingly tell your story and advocate for your students through grant-writing.

Plus one lucky winner will be selected at the end of the live webinar to receive a $25 Amazon gift card.
